WHO’S THAT GIRL?
There was truly no escape for Maddy when it came to her connection to the arts.
She grew up in Orlando, FL with Broadway posters covering her living room walls and weekend playdates in the Disney World Parks. When her family wasn’t in the magical Mickey Mouse world, they were in their hometown of New Orleans, a melting pot of culture, music, and art. These visits usually consisted of reenactments of The Phantom of the Opera for the grandparents, where she passionatley directed the cousins and siblings to make sure their performance of“Masquerade” was perfect. When she was out of the spotlight she was sitting on her Sicilian grandfather’s lap listening to his favorite operas. Safe to say she was constantly surrounded by something theatrical.
Maddy attended the notable Dr. Phillips High School Magnet program. There she played a variety of roles that gave her state wide and city wide recognition and awards. She led her program as the production manager and president. Through her high school theatre experience, she participated in workshops with a multitude of artists including: Alan Cumming and the Second City Improv Troupe.
She received her a BFA in Acting and Musical Theatre concentration from Arcadia University in the Greater Philadelphia region. She was exposed to intense and intimate training as well as being exposed to the vibrant Philadelphia theatre market. She was able to expand her studies globally in Vienna, Austria and Florence,Italy.
She currently resides in New York, and recently signed with Firestarter Entertainment with Kellie Pryor as her main agent. Since moving to New York, she has performed at 54 Below and The Green Room, and continues to perform regionally, most recently seen in The Center Theater’s production of Tuck Everlasting in Philadelphia, PA. She continues to audition, engage in her artistry, and create her space in this industry.
